Glow Worm and its "silky" snares.
Glow Worms are the larvae of a small fly. The larval stage is the only stage in their life cycle that can glow. The adults do not have working mouths and only live for a few days. Glow Worms gain sustenance during the larval stage to get them through the rest of their lifecycle. Small insects are attracted to the glow and are captured by "snares" made from silk threads and sticky droplets.
